The Indiana Fever are a home favorite but have a lot of new looks. Longtime star Tamika Catchings begins here final campaign, retiring at season's end. Former Notre Dame teammates Natalie Achonwa and Devereaux Peters (the latter obtained in a trade with Minnesota) have been brought in to help a thin frontcourt, while rookie guard Tiffany Mitchell steps in, the Fever's 2016 top draft pick. Dallas has a new team, the Wings, the former Detroit/Tulsa Shock. Despite relocating, this team had a winning record last year, including making the 2015 playoffs. Dallas is better this season as they played much of last year without guard Skylar Diggins (lost to knee injury in late June) and forward Glory Johnson, who missed all of 2015. The organization also traded for veteran guard Erin Phillips, who has been part of championship teams in Indiana and Phoenix, so this shapes up as a close one all the way. Take the points on Dallas.
