Connecticut at Los Angeles

Connecticut is almost certain to finish second in the Eastern Conference while the Sparks still have an outside chance of earning a playoff berth with three games left in the regular season. Los Angeles is one game back from the seventh and eighth seeds and it defeated Washington 79-76 on Sunday to keep its chances alive. The Sparks have covered three straight after Brittney Sykes led five double-figure scorers with 21 points against the Mystics, who were held to 38 percent shooting and three of 15 from 3-point range. The Sun come off a tough 94-91 loss at Chicago, which shot 56.9 percent.
