It appears that no team was more disrupted by the Olympic break than this Connecticut team. They had won five straight going into the break, but have emerged just 3-2. They inexcusably almost lost at home to Tulsa, needing overtime to avoid the embarrassment. They have another issue here, as they have had an ultra-weak schedule of late, playing eight straight games vs. losing teams. They now they come to San Antonio who will be playing with revenge for a 4-point road loss at Connecticut earlier this season. After losing their home opener, the Silver Stars have taken complete control of their home-court by winning nine straight here. Seven of those wins came by 9 points or more. Tina Charles is the key for Connecticut and in their last four losses, she has averaged just 9.8 points per game. Connecticut has averaged just 70ppg, so the oddsmakers say that San Antonio is a likely straight-up winner here. That has a huge upside on Connecticut’s scoring being very limited, and the UNDER has a high probability. The Sun has had consistency issues and are now 0-6 ATS after a win, and the Silver Stars have been taking it to winning teams at 8-2 ATS in their last 10. Connecticut is now 11-4 to the UNDER in their last 15 on the road. Five of the last six here have played to the UNDER as well. Play on San Antonio and take UNDER in this one.
