The Connecticut Sun come into this game with the best record in the WNBA at 23-6. The record looks great but there is something looming within the numbers to cast at least some doubt. The Sun plays in the WNBA East which has been brutally bad this season. The other 5 teams in the division are a collective 50-94. The Sun plays the bulk of their schedule against those teams, so you certainly can make the case the record would be looking a lot different if they were in the West. Phoenix is 19-10 so you could also argue if these teams were in the opposite divisions the records may well be reversed as well. That makes the Mercury at home catching points the valued side of this one. Make the play on Phoenix.
