Chicago at Washington

The Chicago Sky will travel to Washington to open the 2021 WNBA season for both squads. The Sky acquired Candace Parker in the off-season but her best work may be behind her at 35. The Sky will be missing a couple of pieces as Allie Quigley and Courtney Vandersloot are both under covid protocol since returning from overseas. Washington should see improvement as Della Donne and Charles who both sat out last year return. That gives them size inside and should markedly improve the defense which was lacking a year ago. Mystics have played 7 of 10 to the under, and the opener is probably not going to see a high-scoring game. Make the play on the under.
