Chicago at New York

The New York Liberty and their heavy Rutgers influence got their season off in resounding fashion last night, taking to the road and pounding the Connecticut Sun 75-54. The notable part of this effort was the 54 points scored by the Sun. The Sun were smothered on offense, finishing at just 21-70 for 30% and managed just 2-15 from beyond the arc. Chicago slipped past a pesky Indiana team at home by 3. The Sky will have to try to find some offense in the absence of Epiphanny Prince, and Sylvia Fowles, both sidelined by injuries. That represents 31 points 14 rebounds, and over 100 assists from last season. Chicago will be vulnerable early, and New York shows aggressive defense. Without the aforementioned duo on the court, extra effort can be made to slow down Elana Delle Donne. The Sky were unimpressive closing out last season at 0-4 ATS following a win, and played 5-1 to the UNDER when following an ATS win in their last six. New York is 35-15-1 to the UNDER in their last 51 home games, and have the edge on both ends in this one. Take New York and the UNDER.
