New York is home and on a roll, winning five in a row while leading the WNBA in rebounds, plus third in points allowed. New York leads the Eastern Conference by one game over the Atlanta Dream despite playing more road games than home contests. The Liberty went to Atlanta and beat the Dream 90-79 in double overtime on Wednesday as Tina Charles had 23 points, nine rebounds and 10 assists. This is a bit of a revenge spot, too, as back in preseason the Sky crushed the short-handed Liberty 93-59, running up the score. New York gets revenge.
