Chicago beat New York by 19 points on Friday night. I really like the Liberty to exact some revenge here at home, after that embarrassing loss. Heck, it really wasn't that shocking of a result given the fact that the Sky were 9-4 at home going into that game. But, unfortunately for them, they are 4-11 on the road, giving up a ridiculous 82.8 points per game, losing on average by nearly ten points per game. New York is essentially a .500 team at home which isn't overly inspiring but it's much better than what Chicago brings on the road here. And they are motivated by that big loss. Chicago has only covered just three of thirteen games this season vs. teams that hit 33%+ from three (New York is 35.8%). The Sky are also just 3-10 ATS this season coming off a home game. New York is 13-5 ATS the past two seasons after a loss to a division rival (9-2 when that loss came on the road). And, if that loss was by 10+ points, the Liberty are perfect (8-0 ATS) in their next game. In fact, New York is 14-1 ATS off any double-digit road loss the past three seasons! In their lifetime in the WNBA, the Liberty are 18-4 ATS at home after a 15+ point loss! So New York should get it done here. I also like this game to go OVER. Chicago is 9-6 OVER on the road this season and 10-7 OVER in division games. New York is 8-5 OVER at home and 11-6 OVER in division games. When playing a road game against a losing team the past two seasons, the Sky are 9-2 OVER. They are also 8-1 OVER during that span as a road dog of six or fewer points. The past three seasons, New York is 12-3 OVER when coming off a double-digit road loss.
