Chicago at Atlanta

The Atlanta Dream has certainly had their highs and lows this season. They opened the season at 10-1, but then quickly went through a painful 1-8 stretch. In spite of that, a win here tonight can move them to within a single game in the loss column to conference leader Chicago. The path back for Atlanta, who is 3-1 in their last four games, has been on the defensive end. After allowing 80+ in four straight games, this team has buckled down on the back end of the court to allow just 66 points per game. Chicago has run off four straight wins, but the difference is that they have done so against four teams that were all below .500 at the time they played them. Those clubs are a combined 43-62 on the season. It will be a much different task here tonight. The Dream have been immense at home where they have been cover machines at 17-5 ATS in their last 22 played here. Given the imensity of this game, I expect them to play big, especially on the defensive end where they have been a force. Atlanta is 11-3 to the UNDER in their last 14 when following an ATS loss, while Chicago enters at 5-1 to the UNDER in their last six within the conference. The Sky are also 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings. Go with Atlanta and take the UNDER.
