Atlanta at Washington

These teams were both supposed to be hovering around the top of the WNBA East standings at this point, but that hasn't materialized for either. Washington, the winner of the East last season has been beset with injuries, and fading confidence. As a result, they will be sitting out the playoffs this year. Atlanta came out of the gate with a whimper that saw them go 3-9 in their first 12 games, covering just one. They have since regrouped into the team most thought we would see, and sit one game out of the final playoffs spot in the East. While this could be a bad spot, playing a bad team for most, it won't be for the surging Dream that needs this one to stay in touch with Chicago for the final playoffs spot. Take Atlanta in this one.
