Atlanta at Minnesota

The Atlanta Dream needs to find a way to get out of the gate better than they have the last two seasons. Last year they opened 3-9, but surged forward from that point to close the regular season by going an impressive 17-5. This season Atlanta opened a disappointing 4-7, but like last year that have rallied to go 11-6 over their last 17 games. Minnesota is the best team in the league to this point, winning nine straight games. The one thing that these teams have in common is that they both can get up and down the floor, as each has topped the century mark three times this season. The Lynx have had a reasonably soft schedule where they are 12-6 ATS vs. a losing team, but are much more challenged vs. a winning team at 4-5 ATS. More importantly, this is just the second time all year they have been posted as a double-digit favorite vs. a winning team - they failed in their first attempt. The Lynx have seen those nine games vs. winning teams combine to average 170 total points per game, and 36 of their last 52 on a pair of days rest have topped the total.
