Most will view this game as a preview of what could turn out to be the WNBA Finals. The Dream boasts a 10-1 record on the season - tops in the WNBA. The Dream have had a cupcake schedule to this point, having played just one team that is over .500 through 11 games, and they have pretty much had their way with them. Things are about to change tonight, as Minnesota sees the 10-1 record, and at home will be out to show that they are indeed still the sheriff in this league. The Lynx are 6-0 at home and their three toughest games - two with Phoenix, and one vs. LA have all resulted in 20-point or better blowout wins. The last shows the Lynx holding big offenses to 62.5 points per game, and I expect more of the same here. The Lynx are 3-8 to the UNDER overall including 4-1 UNDER in their last five. On the road their defense is below average but at home it's very good. They have a history of stepping up the defense when facing the best teams. Minnesota is 24-10 UNDER vs. teams at .750+ including 13-0 UNDER vs. the very best teams (those outscoring opponents by double digits). This one should be intense, and a playoffs-like atmosphere usually means the defenses pick things up a notch. The Lynx are 7-1 to the UNDER in their last eight overall, and should be salivating for a 10-1 team at home to turn it up even more. Take Minnesota and go with the UNDER.
