Atlanta is rested, looking impressive in its lone game in a 73-63 win at San Antonio. Despite going overtime Atlanta is tops in the WNBA defensively in points allowed, plus third in rebounding. They won the rebounding battle in the opener, along with points in the paint 36-20. Forward Angel McCoughtry had 15 points, one of the top players in the league, averaging 20.1 ppg last year. Most impressive was the play of center Elizabeth Williams, who had 10 rebounds. She is a newcomer to the Dream, the former fourth overall pick in 2015, while another newcomer, guard Layshia Clarendon, chipped in 12 points off the bench with four rebounds. Atlanta is on a 13-3 ATS run. While Atlanta is rested, Indiana is playing its third game in six nights. The Fever is short on defense in the young season, surrendering 91.5 points per game (#10 in the league), making this is a good spot for the improved dog to get a victory. Play Atlanta on the moneyline.
