The San Jose Earthquakes have to travel to Florida for this early season tournament. Last year, San Jose struggled on defense, surrendering 52 goals in 34 games, which was why they finished eighth in the 12-team Western Conference. It's a tough matchup as Seattle is off a 2019 campaign where they finished second in the Western Conference then went on to win the MLS Cup title. The offense was fourth in the league with 51 goals and looks even better as star playmaker Nicolas Lodeiro is healthy after sitting out the last week. Throw in newcomers Brazilian midfielder Joao Paulo and Colombian center back Yeimar Gomez Andrade, and this team is loaded with talent once again. Take Seattle on the moneyline.
