MLS starts up again, with this one at the tournament in Orlando, Florida. The Colorado Rapids come off a losing 2019 campaign, finishing eighth in the 12-team Western Conference. The defense was terrible, surrendering 63 goals in 34 matches, second-most in the West. They won their first two games of this season, but they have been idle for four months, and Colorado had a scare as they had to delay their departure to Orlando due to positive COVID-19 tests. They were scheduled to leave on July 5, but they delayed their travel plans after they received two positive test results. They face a Real Salt Lake squad that made the trip to Orlando with no problems and a nearly-full strength squad. Real Salt Lake is unbeaten (a pair of DRAWs), and last season was the No. 3 team in the West, anchored by the second-best defense (41 goals allowed in 34 matches). Real Salt Lake has also owned the series with Colorado, 20 wins, 10 losses, 11 draws, and has won the last three meetings by an 11-2 count including a pair of shutouts. Take Real Salt Lake on the moneyline.
