Qatar may be playing in front of the home fan but little else is going right. Qatar is ranked No. 50 in the World Cup Rankings and looked awful in a 2-0 loss to Ecuador, a team ranked No. 44. Qatar was thoroughly outplayed and manager Felix Sanchez admitted his players were "nervous" as they were out of sync with passing and pressing. Qatar was the first host nation in World Cup history to lose its opening fixture. None of that bodes well against 18th-ranked Senegal. Senegal comes off of a 2-0 loss to the Netherlands but played very well against the No. 8 rated Dutch contingent. Senegal is on a 9-3-1 run in all competitions and has far more skill and talent. Play Senegal.
