Hannah Cifers has only three UFC fights, winning the first two, but off of a recent technical knockout loss to Angela Hill. Hill was in control for most of the one-sided fight. Cifers is a stand-up brawler, and her takedown defense isn't very good. At 5-foot-1, she steps up in competition against 5-foot-4 Mackenzie Dern, who also has a 2.5-inch reach edge and weight advantage. Dern is the more polished and more experienced fighter. She started her pro MMA career 7-0, winning three in the first round. She comes off her first loss, a unanimous decision to Amanda Ribas, but that was her first fight after her pregnancy. She had gone over a year without fighting. This is much different, having had seven months to prepare. Dern is deadly when she can dictate the pace and get things on the canvas as an accomplished submission wrestler and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. She is physically better prepared for this fight and mentally has the motivation for a big win after suffering that first defeat. Lightweight Brok Weaver has only one UFC fight under his belt and hasn't stepped up against tougher competition, until now. He picked up a win over Rodrigo Vargas in February in his UFC debut via a disqualification. In fact, two of his last four wins have been by disqualification. And prior to that, he lost to Joe Riggs. Now he faces his toughest test yet in 26-year old Roosevelt Roberts, who is very efficient with his takedowns. Roberts has three UFC fights to his credit, coming off a unanimous decision victory over Alexander Yakovlev in Moscow. He is strong at gaining top position, not allowing his opponent to get up, then using heavy strikes or finding a submission hold. Roberts is more balanced and experienced than his opponent and gets another victory here. Take Roosevelt Roberts to win the fight for the second leg of this parlay.
