The Washington Capitals are fresh off a hard-fought shootout loss vs. the Philadelphia Flyers last night, completing a losing five-game road trip. They return home tonight to face the Winnipeg Jets who will be a well-rested, hungry team that is trying to wipe out the bad taste of an 8-goal uprising in their last game vs. Pittsburgh. The Jets have really been in attack mode, after 11 of 13 games of failing to score 3 goals, they have turned it up. They have now scored 65 goals in their last 17, for 3.8 per contest which is going to keep them in games.
