Vancouver is on a three-game win streak after defeating Detroit 4-1 on Thursday when Elias Lindholm scored twice to back Thatcher Demko, who had 27 saves. Demko improved to 30-9-1 with a 2.41 goals-against average and he came close to recording his sixth shutout of the season. Demko has won 12 of his past 13 starts and he has allowed only five goals his past three games. Winnipeg had lost five straight before winning its past two against Pittsburgh and San Jose. The Jets have had problems scoring lately with only nine goals in eight games. Vancouver is No. 2 in the NHL scoring 3.70 goals per game. The Jets have lost four road games in a row and they are 0-5 overall their past five versus teams with winning records. Take the Canucks.
