Winnipeg is off a nice win at Philadelphia as a +170 dog and has a better overall record than Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay relies solely on offense, No. 30 in the NHL in goals allowed (3.4) and No. 25 in penalty killing. Right now that offense is carrying them on a nice win streak, but prior to this, remember they lost seven in a row giving-up 34 goals. They can turn around and go back to being bad in a hurry and the Lightning is 2-6 in their last eight against the Eastern Conference, 1-4 in their last five games playing on one day of rest. Meanwhile the Jets are 12-5 in their last 17 games when playing on one day’s rest and 11-5 in their last 16 after scoring 2 goals or less in their previous game. Play the Jets.
