Winnipeg goes for its fifth consecutive win and the latest victory was 4-2 against Anaheim on Sunday when Gabe Vilardi scored to break a tie with 1:42 remaining. The Jets scored four third-period goals, and Connor Hellebuyck had 24 saves for the Jets. Hellebuyck could get a rest tonight and Laurent Brossoit is probable, and the Jets' No. 2 is 3-2-1 with a 2.64 GAA and .903 save percentage. Hellebuyck is 13-6-1, 2.45 and .915. The Jets are 7-1 following a win and they have won six of seven road games. San Jose has improved from its horrible start this season, but the Sharks still are in last place in the Pacific Division with only eight wins in 28 games. Sharks goalie Mackenzie Blackwood is 3-11-2 with a 3.83 GAA and .895 save percentage and he has lost six of his past seven starts, including allowing six goals in a 6-5 San Jose loss to the New York Rangers on Dec. 3.
