Winnipeg at Florida

The Winnipeg Jets have been playing better hockey of late. They finally got their first road win of the season in a crazy contest in Philadelphia 9-8. They dropped their last game 1-0, but are 2-2 over their last four and have not lost by more than a single goal in any of the four. Florida enters at 6-4 on the season, but hasn’t been home for nine days and could be a bit travel weary. They are coming off a big road win at Buffalo as a +165 dog, and the Panthers are now just 16-36 in their last 52 contests when coming in off a win. The Panthers are also a dismal 8-23 when facing a team that allowed 2 goals or less in their previous game, and have been a very disappointing 2-8 in their last 10 games as a favorite. The Jets have a good pedigree against Florida with a 6-2 mark in the last eight meetings, including 5-2 in the last seven in Florida. We’ve got a live dog here, so Winnipeg gets the call.
