Winnipeg at Dallas

The Winnipeg Jets and the Dallas Stars are both off season-opening wins. The Jets were locked in a 1-1 game heading to the third period then exploded for four goals in a 5-1 win in St. Louis. New Dallas coach Jim Montgomery was pleased to get a shutout 3-0 win on his first game as Stars' coach. Dallas has to feel good, and after getting beaten in four straight last year by Winnipeg, and having been out-scored 18-8, there will be a lot of revenge here for the Stars. Ben Bishop recorded his 25th career shutout in the opener and will be ready to close the door on Winnipeg. Play on Dallas.
