Winnipeg at Anaheim

Anaheim shut out the New York Islanders before a 4-3 shootout loss at Arizona on Wednesday. The Ducks won the first meeting this season 7-4 on Oct. 29 and that snapped a four-game losing streak against Winnipeg. As with last season, goalie John Gibson has been much better than his record indicates as he still has a 2.86 goals-against average, which is important as the Ducks average 2.73 goals per game. The Jets are just slightly better at 2.84 and Connor Hellebuyck comes off a win over San Jose after allowing four goals his previous start against Dallas. Anaheim has won its last four Friday games and the Jets are 3-8 their last 11 games after scoring at least five goals their previous game. Play the Ducks.
