Washington suffered a tough loss in overtime at Edmonton when Leon Draisaitl scored 1:18 into overtime and the Oilers came back from two goals down to win. It snapped a four-game winning streak for the Capitals and tonight they'll probably have Ilya Samsonov in goal and he has a 3-1 record with a 1.84 goals-against average and .933 save percentage. The Capitals have scored 22 goals their last five games and Vancouver is back home following a four-game trip. Washington has won the last three meetings and seven of the last eight. The Canucks have lost six of their last nine versus Metropolitan Division teams. Alex Ovechkin scored twice, including a power-play goal for the Caps on Thursday and passed Brett Hull for the most on the road in NHL history. Look for Washington to bounce back with the win tonight.
