Washington at Toronto

The Capitals have played much better having gone 9-5-1 in their last 15 games while the Maple leafs are just 2-7 in their last nine times out on the ice. This becomes a bad spot for the Maple Leafs as the last seven times they took the ice after a three-goal loss they are just 1-6. They have also taken the collar at home going 0-5 against teams winning on the road at a .400 clip or less. The Caps have had resounding success over the Eastern Conference where they have posted an 8-2 mark in their last 10, and off of one day of rest they have been virtually unbeatable at 23-7. I'll go with the Caps here. I also like this one to go UNDER the total. The Caps have played 6-0 to the UNDER in their last six against the Northeast and 5-1 UNDER after their opponent allowed five or more goals in their last game. That is topped off by the fact that these teams have notoriously played low-scoring games which has allowed for six of the last seven to also go UNDER the total.
