The Washington Capitals aren't the scoring machine they were a year ago. But at the same time, they have tightened things up on the defensive end of the ice. Their games this season have averaged just 5.1 goals per game, leading them to play to a 56-22 mark to the UNDER. The Maple Leafs are defending much better too with just 22 goals allowed in their last nine games. The Caps are 45-12-1 to the UNDER in their last 58, while the Maple Leafs sport an 18-7-2 mark to the UNDER as a home dog of +110 to +150. These clubs have played five of the last six meetings in Toronto to the UNDER. I like this one to follow suit, so I’ll back the UNDER.
