Washington at Tampa Bay

The road has been a graveyard for the Washington Capitals for most of the season. That has changed down the stretch as the Caps have logged five wins in their last eight on the road. They have also won three of their last four overall, and they are in a positive frame of mind heading to Tampa. The Lightning have done a great job at home at 24-1-2 on the season, but that hasn't held recently as we head down the stretch. Tampa Bay has a losing home record over their last nine home games. The Capitals have exploited losing teams at 43-21 in their last 64. The Lightning have dropped four straight off a game allowing 8+ power-play opportunities - a sure sign of frustration.
