Washington at Philadelphia

The Philadelphia Flyers could not have been too happy when the NHL schedule was released. That is because it had them on the road for four straight games to open the season. Making matters worse, three of those four games were against teams that were playing their home opener. The Flyers did themselves well by splitting the four games. They now have a home opener of their own, so they along with the fans, should be juiced. Washington comes in at 3-1-1, and this will be their first time plying on consecutive nights this season. Washington, on consecutive games, will go with goaltender Philipp Grubauer (0-0-1, 3.80) , and that gives an edge to the Flyers as well. There should be an electric atmosphere in Philly tonight, which should elevate the home team. Play on Philadelphia.
