Washington at Philadelphia

Washington is a powerhouse team all around, second in the NHL in scoring and goals allowed with top five specialty units. They come off a 6-1 rout of these Flyers on the road as Alex Ovechkin scored twice and Braden Holtby had 31 saves. The Capitals lead the series 3-0. The Capitals scored five power-play goals (eight in the series), including four in a third period marked by some poor behavior by Philadelphia's disgruntled home fans. The Flyers are 0-for-13 on the power play in the series. The Capitals are 38-13 against the Eastern Conference and 39-14 when playing on one day of rest. The Flyers had motivation and home ice on their side, but laid an egg in the biggest game of the season. Philadelphia is flawed at #22 in the league in goals scored, #20 in killing penalties, and close to average defensively (#12 in goals allowed). And you can't be average or below average against this incredible Capitals' squad. Look for Philly fans to heave debris on the ice late in this one -- and Washington fans in the stands with brooms.
