Washington at Montreal

The Montreal Canadiens had a brutal season a year ago, finishing 14th in the Eastern Conference, so not a lot was expected this season. They made wholesale changes during the offseason and hoped for an immediate turnaround and at 11-6-3 they have been a pleasant surprise. They have been sloppy at times on the defensive end but are off back-to-back games of allowing just two goals each. The Washington offense has been a mystery and the Capitals have been held to two or fewer goals in four of their last six. The result has been a team trending UNDER as five of their last six have finished UNDER the total, and I think that streak continues tonight. Play on the UNDER.
