Washington at Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Kings have seen their level of play fall off dramatically over the last 2-3 weeks as they have come up on the short end of five of their last seven games. On the other hand, the Capitals have been playing good and have come out on the right side in 11 of their last 16, and have been solid and consistent all season long. The Caps have really thrived in the role of a favorite where they are now 73-34 in their last 107 as chalk, and that includes 10 of their last 13 as a road favorite. The Kings are just 16-37 vs. an opponent that scored 5 or more in their last game, and the Caps are playing more consistent hockey, so I will back them on the road here.
