The Capitals are 40-19 against the Eastern Conference, plus 39-17 playing on one day of rest. The Florida Panthers are home but without key forwards Jonathan Huberdeau (Achilles) and Nick Bjugstad (hand) long term. The Panthers are 0-for-8 with the man advantage in the first three games and 19-47 against a team with a winning percentage above .600. And when these teams clash the Capitals are 12-4.
