This is a good spot to play the high scoring Caps under the total. Alex Ovechken has not scored a goal in eight games, one shy of his career longest drought of nine. That coupled with Semyon Varlomov's play behind the net gives this high total some serious doubts. Despite the 6-goal uprising vs. Phoenix, the Stars had scored just five times in their past four games, and eight of their last twelve have failed to reach the total. As high scoring as they have been, the Caps are 7-0 to the UNDER facing a total of 6+ on the season. This is also their 8th game in 14 days a situation that has seen the total fall to the UNDER at a 25-11 mark in the last 36. I like the UNDER in this one.
