Washington at Chicago

Washington lost for the first time in 11 road games 3-1 to Dallas last night, but the Capitals will start another streak as they travel to Chicago to play the hapless Blackhawks. The Capitals have won eight of 10 overall and 11 of 14 against Western Conference opponents. Washington has allowed only 1.83 goals per game their past six games and it has won four of five in the fourth game of a 4-in-6 days situation. Chicago has lost seven of nine although it did get a 5-3 win over the Islanders on Sunday. However, the Blackhawks haven't won two in a row since Nov. 3. Chicago is 8-54 its past 62 games against teams with .600 winning percentages and they'll likely face Logan Thompson tonight and he is 12-1-2 with a 2.45 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage for Washington.
