The Capitals took a beating at the hands of Pittsburgh last night, losing 8-1. On the flip side, Boston has won 4 of their last 5 and has a chance to get to .500 tonight. During that span, they have allowed just 2.4 goals per game, thanks to the play of rookie goaltender Tim Thomas. In the second half of this season, they haven't lost to a team that allows 3+ goals per game (Washington allows 3.9 per game and a ridiculous 4.5 per game on the road).
