Washington at Boston

The Boston Bruins will begin defense of their Stanley Cup hosting the Washington Capitals. The Bruins did what they needed to do to get here.  We all have seen what happens when this team turns it on as they went through a 21-3 stretch during the regular season and dominated pretty much everyone. The Caps road struggles saw them post just 16 wins in 41 road games and the environment in Boston for this one won't make things any easier. The B's have been perfect in their last six off three days rest and also own a 25-10 mark facing an opponent who allowed two or less goals in their last game. The Caps have been poor of late on extended three days rest at 1-4 in their last five. I look for the Bruins team that went 21-3 to take the ice tonight. With the Caps road woes, their chances here are smaller than the odds. Play on Boston.
