Vegas has had an amazing season, but the Golden Knights may have finally met their match against the Winnipeg Jets, who won Game 1 in more convincing fashion than the score indicates. The Knights came out flat and appeared unprepared as they opened a playoff series on the road for the first time. The Jets went two-for-four on the power play as the Knights piled up penalty minutes, and Marc-Andre Fleury gave up all four goals. The Jets came at Vegas in waves, and Mark Scheifele now has 12 goals in the playoffs. He and Blake Wheeler have 18 points through 13 playoff contests. Connor Hellebuyck had 19 saves on only 21 shots by the Knights. Winnipeg has won 43 of its last 54 home games and 41 of its last 58 overall.
