This is the Winter Classic being played outdoors at T-Mobile Park in Seattle. Vegas has won eight of the nine meetings with the Kraken, who have scored a total of only 14 goals in those 10 games. The Golden Knights come off a much-needed 3-2 win over Los Angeles that snapped a four-game losing streak on Thursday and the game went UNDER the total. Logan Thompson had 32 saves as he settled down after a few shaky performances. Vegas is tied for first place with Vancouver in the Pacific Division and it will try to end a four-game win streak by Seattle, which has gone UNDER four straight games. The Kraken have scored only nine goals during the streak. Thompson is 11-6-3 with a 2.80 GAA and likely Seattle starter Joey Daccord is 8-5-8 with a 2.46 GAA and .915 save percentage.
