You have to give it to the Vegas Golden Knights, who are a team that joined the NHL just a couple of years ago and took off right from the start. That continues into the 2020-21 season as the Golden Knights are off to a 14-4 start to the season. They are playing their best hockey of the season right now as they are off four straight wins. The four wins have seen them with a decisive 16-7 combined margin. San Jose once had one of the biggest home-ice advantages in the league at the Shark Tank, but that has diminished in recent years as the quality of the team has fallen. The Sharks have dropped four of their last six on home ice. Their recent play has been awful as they enter the fifth game of a six-game homestand having allowed 19 goals in the first four, or almost five a contest.
