The Las Vegas Golden Knights would be the top seed in the Western Conference if the season ended today with 103 standing points. The job isn't finished though as the LA Kings have 100, and Edmonton has 99. The Nashville Predators may be running out of time. They currently sit five points behind the Winnipeg Jets for the 8th and final playoff spot in the West and are also three points behind the Calgary Flames. The Predators have been playing themselves out of the playoffs rather than in, as they are 4-7 in their last 11 games, and are just 5-8 on home ice in their last 13. It doesn't help that they are 1-6 in the last seven meetings with Vegas, which includes four straight home losses. Make the play on Vegas.
