The Vegas Golden Knights won their 34th game Thursday night to set the record for most wins by an expansion team as David Perron's goal with 1:03 left in overtime beat Winnipeg 3-2. Marc-Allen Fleury had 26 saves and the Knights won their fourth in five games and second straight road contest. Vegas has scored 19 goals its last five games while allowing only 10. They still have been installed as an underdog against Minnesota, which comes off a 3-2 shootout win at Columbus on Tuesday. Zach Parise and Chris Stewart scored in the shootout and Devan Dubnyk had 28 saves. Vegas has won four of its last five road games and 12 of its last 15 against teams with winning records. Also, the Golden Knights are 17-6 after a win and 22-7 versus the Western Conference. The Wild is 4-9 its last 13 games against teams that have .600 or better winning percentages.
