Vegas at Colorado

This is a huge revenge game for Colorado as it was embarrassed in a 7-0 blowout the first meeting on Nov. 4. The Avalanche still have won four of the past six meetings and are hitting a stride, wining seven of their past nine following a 4-3 shootout victory over Boston on Monday. Vegas has hit a rough spot losing six of its past eight games although the Golden Knights managed to get a 5-2 victory over the New York Islanders on Saturday. Adin Hill could make his return in net as Logan Thompson is doubtful with an illness. Hill has appeared in just one game since Nov. 30 while dealing with an injury. Colorado goalie Alexandar Georgiev is 22-9-2 with a 2.97 goals-against average and he also has a score to settle as he was the victim of the seven-goal barrage the last meeting.
