Vegas is emerging as the favorite to win the Stanley Cup as it's one point behind Carolina for the best record in the NHL after its 10th win in a row, a 5-2 over Colorado on Wednesday. The Golden Knights lead the league with an 86.5% penalty kill, and their goalie combination of Marc-Andre Fleury and Robin Lehner arguably is tops in the league. Fleury had 35 saves against the Avalanche, and Max Pacioretty scored twice to extend his points streak to nine games on Wednesday. Arizona has lost eight of its past 10 games and comes off two losses to San Jose. Vegas has won seven of the past eight meetings, including a 1-0 shutout on April 11. The Knights are 20-8 playing with one day of rest and 14-3 their past 17 games as road favorites. They are 5-0 their last five road games overall. Play the Golden Knights.
