Vancouver at Washington

Vancouver looks to avenge a 6-5 shootout loss to Washington in October while the Capitals come off a 4-1 loss at the New York Rangers. The Capitals will still be without right wing Garnet Hathaway who has two more games to go on a suspension. The Canucks defeated the Nashville 6-3 on Thursday as Elias Pettersson had a goal and two assists and his team went 5-for-6 on the power play plus a short-handed goal. It snapped a three-game losing streak for Vancouver and Jacob Markstrom had one of his best performances of the season with 45 saves and he now has a 2.85 goals-against average. The Canucks actually allow fewer goals (2.91) per game than the Capitals (3.00). There is good value in the road underdog so play the Canucks.
