Vancouver at San Jose

When you look at this San Jose team as a short favorite at home, it is always worth giving them a deeper look. They come into this game vs. the Canucks owning an 87-40 mark on home ice in their last 127 games played here. That number doesn't suffer when the line is a modest home favorite of -110 to -150 as it actually is better of late, with the Sharks at 19-7 in their last 26 as home chalk in that range. The Canucks overall have played better hockey than the Sharks on the season, but this isn't one of their bright spots as Vancouver comes in at just 1-5 in their last six tries as a dog. The Sharks have Vancouver's number as they are 10-3 against them in the last 13 meetings, including 6-0 in their last six at The Tank. I'm taking San Jose.
