Vancouver at Dallas

While Dallas is struggling a bit, Vancouver is in a tailspin. The Canucks have dropped seven of eight. Far cry from their 8-1-1 start to the season. Dallas is off a loss to Los Angeles and the Stars are 26-4 at home off a loss against a division rival since 1996. Both teams are scoring about even but the big difference here is defense. Over the past five games, Vancouver is allowing 12% SOG, 21% PP conversion and 3.8 goals per game. Dallas on the other hand, over the same period, has allowed 9.5%, 12% and 2.2 per game respectively. Vancouver's terrible defense will get the best of them here. Three stars on the Stars.
