Vancouver at Columbus

Last season everything broke right for the Vancouver Canucks, but it will sadly be remembered in failure as they lost in the Stanley Cup Finals. Roberto Luongo has had success vs. the Blue Jackets at 9-5-4 lifetime, but of late he has had a lot of difficulty in Columbus where he is just 1-4 in his last five behind the net. The Canucks have had a long winning streak here in Columbus, dating all the way back to October of 2009, but the Stanley Cup loser’s hangover, along with an opponent who will be hungry against them, is going to be troubling for Vancouver. The Canucks closed just 1-4 on the road a year ago, so I can see them playing uninspired hockey in this one. Columbus gets the call.
