Vancouver at Colorado

Vancouver opened the season on the road and will be entering off a loss, while Colorado won their home opener and will try and make it two straight here. The Avalanche beat a good San Jose team rather soundly, and was very offensive in doing so against a usually solid Sharks’ team as they had five goals on the board in just over a half a game of play. The Canucks fate was just the opposite as they couldn't stop Calgary, and before the fans’ seats were warm, the Flames had three in the net within the first 12 minutes of the game. The Canucks have a long standing track record for high-scoring games as a favorite as they have played 33-15-8 to the OVER in their last 56 as a favorite. When taking to the road as the favorite, they are 8-2-2 to the OVER as well. We have seen a big lapse from Vancouver as well as a big explosion from Colorado, so I expect this one to go over the total.
