The Avalanche come off a 4-3 loss at Nashville that snapped a three-game win streak and they lost when Yakov Trenin got the tiebreaking goal with just 21.6 seconds left. The Canucks have won 13 of 16 against the Western Conference and six straight versus Central Division opponents.
